I look forward to deepening your journey through sound and energy healing. My core belief is that all healing is possible through a deep connection with ourselves and how that is communicated through our relationships and life mission. While some can heal in solitude, it is just as important to attune ourselves to know when to ask for help and participate in a healing community. Relationships and communication with others and ourselves can help us measure personal growth and shine light on what may be hindering us.

I lived in Redding prior to moving to Chico in the mid 1990s. My personal journey with sound began in the handbell choir in 5th grade. I was the proud owner of F#/Gb, C, and A!! I recall practicing them often and this led to my love of music, an understanding of the emotional and physical connection to tone, and the magical introduction of sound healing through gongs, bowls, chimes, drums, and voice.

My journey has meandered through times of loss and grief, the angst of not knowing how to process emotions tied to trauma, and a deep understanding of how tone can aid in the healing process. We all have that favorite piece of music that takes us to an emotional place. This place could be happiness, sadness or anywhere in between. Sound healing operates in the same way. I have supported youth and adults who are Neuro atypical, worked at county level crisis services, gained education through my bachelors and masters programs at CSU, Chico resulting in my license as a clinical social worker (LCSW), and have a background in music. I now hope to bring all of this together in my offer of sound healing and reiki and talk therapy.
